Livingston James Continues Partnership with Forth Ports to Appoint New Commercial Director

An opportunity to join one of the UK’s most influential infrastructure groups and help shape the future of port development.

Forth Ports is a powerhouse of UK trade, operating eight strategically located ports – including Tilbury, London’s closest deep-water port. Collectively, Forth Ports moves over 31 million tonnes of cargo annually, contributing £950 million to the economy and powering supply chains across the country. Tilbury alone handles 36% of the Thames’ cargo flow, generates over half its turnover, and has ambitious plans to double throughput and triple direct employment over the next decade.

Forth Ports is seeking a strategic and driven Commercial Director to taking responsibility for the development and implementation of the Port’s commercial strategy. This includes shaping the commercial direction, driving revenue growth, and enhancing the skills and capabilities of commercial teams.

Candidates should bring prior experience in a commercial role and a strong network related to Forth Ports’ key markets as well as a proven track record in driving profitable growth and optimisation initiatives. Multi-site/multi-market expertise in large complex business environments would be beneficial.
