Livingston James is supporting the expansion of new clean energy investment platform, Corran Capital, with the appointment of an Investment Director

Livingston James is delighted to be partnering with Corran Capital, an Edinburgh based venture capital firm that helps build clean energy and sustainability focused businesses. Corran Capital completed its first clean energy investment in September 2021, raising £24 million from FTSE 100 energy company, SSE plc, to launch a new renewables development business, Renewco Power.

 

Corran is now planning to establish a small, focused investment team and, as a key first step, is seeking to recruit an investment professional with the passion, experience and commercial gravitas to drive the success of the platform, working alongside the founding team. Corran is seeking individuals with a desire to make a positive impact in the clean energy and sustainability space, whilst also showing passion and enthusiasm to support business growth and empower business owners to recognise their companies’ potential.
