Recently backed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, who have an exceptional track record of investing in large and complex energy infrastructure projects globally, Bute Energy looks to accelerate the development of their portfolio and bring significant supply chain and economic benefits to Wales and the wider UK in time.
Bute Energy is growing its existing team to drive the business through the next stages of consenting and delivery. The business is now looking to appoint into the critical role of Finance Director. The Finance Director will be a member of the senior management team and executive committee, leading on all aspects of financial management and with responsibility for the back-office functions of the business such as IT, and in-house legal resource. This is an enormously exciting opportunity to join a high-growth business and play a key role in its continued success.
Candidates should be experienced and appropriately qualified finance professionals with a proven track record of success within a similar role. Experience in working with a Board will be beneficial, building their confidence in the reporting, financial models, and processes/controls. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate a track record of developing early-stage finance functions, providing structure and validation around systems, processes, controls, audit & compliance and reporting.
